I first began speaking to Christie a few months ago when she expressed an interest in booking her Kent engagement photography with me – and we began to talk about ideas, likes and dislikes! She and her other half, Stephen, got engaged last year in September and live with their gorgeous, not-so-little doggie who they were keen to include in our shoot!
We began at this stunning little church in Mereworth. The pillars and architecture of this building made it an absolutely stunning location to get accustomed to eachother! After just a few shots, it began to rain and we decided to make a break for the woods up the road. Trekking through the country lanes and farmland and onto the public footpath within the woods, we had our footwear absolutely saturated by the puddles, then covered in mud! We made it up the hill and took a gorgeous hour to mull around the edge of the woods, snapping some candid photos with lots of emotion and romantic prompts! I even managed to score a gorgeous rain-umbrella shot with them both, which I absolutely adore. After this, we trekked our muddy selves back to the country lanes and managed to capture a few lovely photos of Christie, Stephen and their gorgeous dog!
I’m so excited to show off these images because they are such a beautiful couple who are clearly an amazing match for one another!
