Here we are to talk about Julia & Marcus’ wedding at The Faversham. The wedding I’m about to reveal to you will no doubt having you gurgling “ooooo”s and “aaaaa”s because of it’s pure emotion, and it’s picturesque, unique decor.
I finished my work at about 5:30pm on the Friday before Julia & Marcus’ wedding, and drove the 3 1/2 hours up to Leeds that night. (You all must know by now, I love to travel.) My assistant, Adam, and I decided to book into the Quebecs hotel ourselves, where Julia and her bridal party were staying – and we were definitely not disappointed. What a stunning little gem in the middle of a city, with magnificently high decorated ceilings, tasteful decor and windows taller that were probably taller than my house! (A recommended stay, should you ever be in the area.)
And it definitely kept it’s enthralling beauty up for our bridal prep capture, making a beautiful venue for Julia’s last unmarried hours! We relaxed with champagne while everyone got made up for the day, before leaving in cars for the wedding venue – The Faversham – which was around a 10 minute drive.
The Faversham is a quaint little venue hidden amongst a built up area, a wonderful relaxed aura radiates from it’s modern and slightly alternative decoration choices, that made a perfect fit for Julia and Marcus.
The ceremony full of emotion was held in the greenhouse, followed by drinks and photographs in the garden and terrace – before a meal back into a transformed greenhouse area with bar, and finally the dance reception in the hall area – which is set up similarly to a tasteful club.
Enjoy and live a little through these photographs, as I have.
There were balloon releases, stunning decor choices with light golden touches, fairy lights, photos and touching family sentiments that cannot be forgotten.
And a final thank you to Julia & Marcus’ family and the suppliers who helped put this together with them:
