Alex and Michael got in touch with me earlier this year about their small, intimate wedding in Rochester. Although they only booked me for a short 3 hour package, I was honored to be a part of their day and capture their Guildhall and Barnyard wedding photography.
Their simple yet beautiful ceremony was held in the Guidhall Museum – a truly understated and beautiful wedding ceremony venue, filled with hundreds of years worth of history, ornate decoration and beautiful masterpieces. Their ceremony was sweet and they were married just after noon, surrounded by family and friends.
After their ceremony, the wedding guests and I all walked over to the lower grounds of Rochester Castle to capture a few scenic group shots and shots of Alex and Michael together, before we took a very short walk into the high street to capture some street shots.
From here, we all drove over to The BarnYard in Upurch for the couple’s relaxed, yet beautiful, wedding meal. We snapped some cute confetti shots and I stuck around to capture the meal just as it begun before heading home. I’m so happy to share these photos because I believe no union is the same, every union is beautiful and you don’t have to spend thousands or have a huge wedding to promise yourself to one person forever. I wish Alex and Michael every happiness and was so happy to capture their Barnyard wedding photography!
