Alice and Luke tied the knot deep into the month of December with a ceremony at Archbishop’s Palace Maidstone and an Orchard Suite wedding reception!
We started the big day with bridal preparations at their house in Chatham, Kent. Alice’s flowers were a unique and inspired arrangement of Ivory and purple combined with beautiful foliage and thistle. Her engagement ring, as you can see above, was begging to be photographed – what a unique style.

There were hundreds of sausage rolls to go around as Alice and her closest got ready for the wedding!
And there were plenty of emotional (and hilarious) moments!
Alice looked stunning by the time she was primmed and prepped.
And then Alice and her father drove in style to Archbishop’s Palace for the big ceremony: in a traditional Rolls Royce.

Archbishop’s palace is a beautiful and long-established 14th century building that serves as Maidstone’s registry office.
Luke anxiously awaited Alice’s arrival, as guests began to arrive… before long the father of the bride walked her down the aisle and he finally got to see the masterpiece: the woman he is spending his life with.
Lighthearted, emotional and uplifting was their ceremony. Followed by traditional confetti throwing!

We took our opportunity to create some couples portraits at this point, and boy – Archbishop’s Palace is so photogenic. We were able to create some memories that I think they will treasure forever.
The guests and we all made our way onto the venue at this point. The Orchard Suite and Oak Rooms looked absolutely stunning, decorated lavishly for Christmas alongside the wedding!
And I obviously took time photographing the beautiful details that Alice, Luke and the venue had put so much effort into styling!
THIS CAKE! This cake has got to be one of my all-time favourites. Look at the stunning details, this must have taken a lot of time to create! (Baker credits at the bottom of this post!)
And the table arrangements had clearly had so much effort put into them.
So, as all the guests arrived for the orchard suite wedding, we settled in and I took the time to photograph a few candid moments as the reception started. Their sit down meal was soon ushered on, and the speeches began.
As you can see, the speeches were absolutely hilarious! And very well written. Naturally, once everybody begun eating, I excused myself for my own break, but not before taking some time to create some gorgeous wedding ring photographs!

The night progressed with guests relaxing and happiness flowing. What a wonderful day, full of emotions and genuine warmth and happiness. Just like Alice’s face below…
Their first dance began together, but they soon asked for the guests to join them on the dance floor and shared in the moments with their loved ones.
And you can see here, everybody had an amazing time!

But before we left, we made use of the beautiful gazebo in the garden of the orchard suite wedding…

And their beautiful fairy lights. I can feel the romance from here…
